GMT Aviation LLC was founded and established in Los Angeles. The company’s roots trace back to 2019, when it originally operated under the name Gear Up Aviation, based in Dubai, UAE, where it supported aviation maintenance professionals across the Middle East region.
The organization is led by an experienced licensed aircraft maintenance engineer with over 25 years of expertise in both line and base maintenance operations. He holds multiple aircraft maintenance licenses and aircraft type ratings across Airbus, Boeing, and Embraer types, issued by leading aviation authorities including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and the UK Civil Aviation Authority (UK CAA).
